ABSOLUTISM - Blasting Trilok I
Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album
ABSOLUTISM made their first international appearance at the end of 2021 with the digital version of their EP "Blasting Trilok I". The EP showed the band firmly rooted in a fiery Technical Death/Grind style.
The release of "Blasting Trilok I" was originally planned for 2021, but the Corona crisis slowed down things and in 2022 Gruesome Records decided to release a string of singles first: "Falling In Sedation " and "Fear of Knowledge".

After a long, harsh apocalyptic dystopic lock down, unorthodox Italian-Colombian Death Grind trio ABSOLUTISM have assembled a powerful and extreme act conceived to brutalise eardrums and break necks. A visceral interpretation of rage, filled with sharp sounding riffs and blast beats, their debut EP, entitled Blasting Trilok I is a meticulous work of modern Death Grind.
Across 6 tracks, ABSOLUTISM debate the moral contradictions of modern societies, fear, anxiety, lowbrow consumerism and violence, and the darkest complexities of the human condition, all told through the dystopic space travel of a lost Noah's ark carrying what is left of humanity.
PREMIERES -
- A release full of violence and anxiety thru a complex, dissonant technical Death Metal, influenced by the brutality of Grindcore.
- LOUD Magazine
- it is necessary to listen carefully and appreciate so much harmony assembled in such a brutal way in a debut recording of a band. Absolutely a fan of Absolutism!
- Metal Friends
- The production, clear and thick, the artwork, disturbing and evocative are up to the task. What more could you ask for? [...] The silky, gritty six strings are a great example of coherent violence. They are built on the basis of awkward riffs, moments of extra convoluting and punctual attacks of tremolo picking.

The horror tropes alone are enough to make this an excellent album, but the melodies and depth of songwriting are an appreciated plus!

This is fantastic! Some seriously tasty brutal tech death, with absolutely crushing riffs, rhythm, and vocals.
The album's production and mixing is also perfect, it's very balanced and allows the music to shine through the brutality.
Highly, highly recommended! somethingsomething9
